As an NASM Certified Wellness Coach, I don't just tell you what to do; I help you build the self-efficacy to believe you can do it. Together, we will shift your locus of control inward, empowering you to become the expert on your own body through the 5 Pillars of Wellness:

  • Movement: We focus on creating an upward spiral of positive emotion and physical energy. By identifying movement that sparks intrinsic motivation, whether that's structured gym training, gardening, or hiking, we turn exercise from a chore into a self-reinforcing habit that naturally boosts your mood and momentum.

  • Nutrition: Restrictive dieting often relies on willpower, which is a limited resource. We replace "good vs. bad" food labeling with cognitive reframing. By practicing mindful eating and understanding your cues, we move away from emotional eating and toward nutritional choices that support your biology and your values.

  • Mindfulness: Stress is inevitable; your reaction to it is not. We work on emotional regulation strategies to manage your allostatic load (the wear and tear of chronic stress). Through mindfulness, you will learn to navigate daily stressors with clarity rather than reacting on autopilot.

  • Rest & Recovery: True wellness requires balancing effort with regeneration. We will analyze your sleep hygiene and recovery protocols to ensure you aren't just surviving, but thriving. Proper restoration helps you manage daily cognitive load, preserving the mental energy required to make intentional, healthy choices.

  • Social Well-Being: We are social creatures. We will strategize ways to curate a social environment that reduces friction and increases accountability. Building a support network is not just about friendship; it is a proven mechanism to improve healthspan and reinforce your new, healthy identity.
